Carrie Kneitel
Creative Director based in Los Angeles
I believe creativity is one of the most powerful tools we have to solve complex problems. For as long as I can remember, I’ve turned to visual thinking to understand and express the world around me.

With a foundation that spans art direction, brand development, print, and digital design, I specialize in building brands that are both emotionally resonant and strategically sound. My process is intuitive yet intentional: I distill messages down to their essence and shape them into clear, compelling visual systems—with your brand as the north star.

My experience is rooted in both breadth and depth. I’ve designed for some of the internet’s most forward-thinking startups, co-founded a fashion label (Edward An),
and ran my own creative studio before stepping into my current role as Creative Arts Director at the Museum of Tolerance and the Simon Wiesenthal Center. My client base spans entertainment, fashion, tech, nonprofits, automotive, food, and mission-driven startups.

This cross-industry perspective allows me to bring a fresh yet timeless approach to every project I take on.

Design, for me, is equal parts craft and concept. Color, texture, typography, and form are my vocabulary—and I'm deeply inspired by my hands-on art practices: painting, ceramics, and illustration. I think big-picture first, always aiming to build meaningful brands designed for longevity—not just the moment.

I thrive in inclusive, low-ego, collaborative environments where creativity and integrity drive the work. I'm most energized by projects and people committed to making a positive impact in the world.
